John-Paul Gentile is an instructor at WorshipU as well as a staff member of the Bethel Church Worship Department, and often plays drums and acoustic guitar for Brian & Jenn Johnson, Kristene DiMarco and Steffany Gretzinger. Many of WorshipU’s instructors started as students. This experience not only equips our instructors with the transformation into who they are today, but also gives them more passion for seeing new students excel. This is a true testament to the cultivation of truth acquired as a student, and the legacy it carries into leadership. Watch as he shares his story of experiencing the adventure that is Jesus.
WorshipU On Campus offers opportunities to sit under our instructors in a small group setting and work on specific interests such as vocal lessons, guitar lessons, songwriting, and more. One of our favorite workshops offered is the Song Review class where students have an opportunity to share an original song and receive constructive feedback from some Bethel Music writers, worship leaders, and administrators. This opportunity allows for seasoned writers such as Paul McClure, Matt Stinton, Amanda Cook, and others to invest in and build up students as they share their songs in a creatively safe environment. The stories that come out of this class are fun and powerful as students like Melana and Stephanie discover their inner creative. Watch as they share their song and story in the video below.
